Do you accept all species and breeds?

Absolutely! Snout Services welcomes every species, breed, temperament, and age. Our team is trained to work safely and respectfully with every type of pet.

Are your sitters trained and background checked?

Yes! Every sitter is background checked, fully qualified, and experienced. Our team completes extensive training in pet first aid, CPR, and safety before caring for any pets.

How do payments work?

Once you’ve met your sitter and decide to move forward with the booking, you’ll complete the payment upfront through a secure payment link. This confirms your booking and officially reserves your dates.

What is your cancellation policy?

You’re welcome to cancel at anytime. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours will receive a 50 percent refund.

What areas do you serve?

We proudly serve North Alabama, including Madison, Huntsville, Athens, Triana, Harvest, and surrounding areas. Our coverage area continues to expand to meet local pet parents' needs.

Can I book recurring visits every week?

Yes! You can set up weekly or monthly visits with ease. Simply choose the repeat option when booking, and we’ll handle the rest.

What if my pet needs medication?

Our experienced sitters are trained to administer both oral and injection medications precisely as instructed. We follow your detailed care instructions to ensure your pet's health and comfort.

Can I meet my sitter before booking?

Yes! A free meet and greet is included with every booking, no strings attached.

Do you care for anxious or aggressive pets?

We do! All  of our sitters are trained to work with anxious, reactive, or aggressive pets. Just let us know at booking so we can match you with the right sitter.

Do you offer last-minute or same-day bookings?

Yes, we do offer same day and last minute bookings, as long as our schedule allows. If we have an available sitter, we’re happy to accommodate your request.

Do you offer services on holidays and are there holiday rates?

Yes, we provide services on all holidays. There is a holiday rate for all major holidays, and the exact amount varies by service. You can find the full breakdown on our pricing page.

What if my sitter has an emergency or gets sick?

If your sitter becomes unavailable due to illness or an emergency, we’ll immediately arrange a qualified backup sitter so your pet’s care continues without interruption.

How will I know when my sitter has arrived?

Your sitter will send you a message when they arrive and depart, along with photos and text updates during each visit—so you’re never out of the loop.
